Where to catch it
In San Gil, at the bus terminal, where buses from Bogotá and Bucaramanga also arrive. In Barichara, the Cotrasangil office is at Carrera 6 No 5 76. You can pay at the counter or to the driver.
Hotels along the road
Some hotels sit on the San Gil road rather than in the center. Hotel Terra is at km 16, about 4 km from town. Arriving by bus, ask to be dropped at the gate. The bus to Guane also leaves from Barichara.
